This was an assignment from my school. I did not design this Chicano Girl. We were working on her as a tattoo project, but I decided to draw her first before I attempted tattoo her.

I did my first tattoo design. 🙂 I designed a tattoo for my bff’s mom to memorialize her daughter and husband who had both passed away about a year apart from each other. 💔 Sydney, her daughter and my friend, had MS, and her husband passed away from Prostate cancer. So she requested something on the lines of an orange (for MS) and light blue (for Prostate cancer) ribbon for those causes/diseases and their names. Although, I am learning to tattoo and you can follow my tattoo journey at , I wasn’t ready to tattoo it for her yet. So credit to whoever that was. I didn’t get the name of the artist. I was wondering how I would’ve approached my drawing as a tattoo and it was interesting to see how someone else translated it to ink and skin. It’s so incredible to see my art work on someone’s body! Permanently! It’s the highest honor! 🥰

I finished my first digital art portrait! It's Michonne from the AMC show The Walking Dead. She's one of my favorite ladies from the show.

I "arted" 29/31 days this month! That's the most consistent with my art I have ever been and I hope I have solidified the habit for the foreseeable future! Which was the point of this challenge.
Onto NanoWriMo (a November monthly writing challenge) next month with still drawing nearly every day in addition to working on a story I've been working on for years.
This took me way longer than I should have. I made some mistakes so I think that's why this piece took me nearly the entire last 2 weeks of Inktober. Although, I feel digital art can be a much easier medium artists can use, if you don't use it right - it becomes a lot harder. Sometimes I didn't even know what I did wrong to get the outcomes I was getting and needed to start entire layers over. The only mistake I know for sure is that I left the bottom layer on only 60% capacity and that could've been a cause for a lot of frustration and that was too late to fix without starting with a blank canvas.
At least I learned from it and have been neurotically checking to make sure I put my layer opacities back to where I want them on the project I started yesterday - which is my first digital art portrait. 🙂
Happy Halloween, everyone! 🎃👻😈

Done in February, but I think I "fixed" the one I did earlier this month for Inktober. I think???

I finished the piece I've been working on for the past 2 weeks yesterday, but I'm going to post it on Halloween. I created this peach in February. I have an Inktober piece I need to fix today and repost maybe on November first.

I have drawn 25 out of 27 days throughout October! Yay! That's the most consistently I've drawn in years! Or maybe ever.
Granted, I'm still working on a digital piece for the longest time and it's not done yet, I figured we would stick with the digital art theme and post some things I did in February. I never posted them before and figured it would help to pass the last couple days of the Inktober Challenge.

This Candelabra took me a week. I'm over it. 🕯️

I know I don’t end each day with a finished product like I think I intended to for Inktober, but I have been drawing every day - except yesterday. My only friend I have done a portrait of (thus far) passed away. 💔 RIP, Sydney. You were a special sweet girl. And thank you for letting me draw you all those years ago. Special girl. 💔

I didn't define my goal very clearly. My goal was to draw every day of October, which I've done.
What I think I intended to do was finish a piece every day, which I have not done. And maybe, with the type of artist I am, may not be realistic. Regardless, I have drawn every day. 🙂 yay!
I started this bat on October 3rd, and finished it October 5th. 🦇

I had no idea what to draw yesterday and I was running out of time. It had to be something not too elaborate and I know artists should draw more from real/still life so here's a random spoon. 😂 🥄
