We should start to see a transition into more summer type temperatures as we work our way into mid month! It’s been a relatively chilly week, but the sunshine has been nice! ☀️

The winter weather summary for last winter was just released. Snowier and colder than average for almost all locations across NYS. Slightly below normal for snowfall at the Buffalo airport. Jackpot across WNY was Colden at 228", and off Lake Ontario Worth with 323"

Historically, summers during super El Nino years are usually chillier than normal across the great lakes. The CPC is going with around average temperatures with normal precipitation across the Buffalo area.

The average high/low today is 70/52 so the upcoming pattern will average right around our normal's for this time of year.

We've seen anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of rain across most of New York State the last week. A period of dry weather is coming up with plenty of sun! Temperatures will moderate into mid week before cooling down over the weekend.

The new European model run is showing almost 3" of rain across the area tomorrow! Get those sump pumps in working order!

There is quite a bit of rain coming this weekend (Saturday). On the order of 1-2" across WNY. I'd recommend getting the lawns cut tomorrow if possible!
