This Veterans Day, Team Tonawanda is thanking our Veterans for their service and dedication to keeping our country safe. We appreciate all that they have sacrificed and want them to be recognized.

On Friday, November 6, there will be a Veteran’s Day Collection through the UAW Local 774. Volunteers will be at all gates on all shifts to accept your generosity in support of Western New York Veterans.

We also have a banner representing our armed forces for all Veterans to sign and be recognized. The banner is currently in the Plant Five Cafeteria and will remain there until end of first shift, Friday, November 6. It will then be relocated to Plant 1 G19 for our first, second, and third team members there.

On Tuesday, November 10, all shifts will observe a one minute moment of silence at their first break:

LGE: 8:00 a.m.
Gen V: 9:15 a.m., 5:15 p.m., and 11:15 a.m.

Thanks to the generous General Motors Tonawanda Engine Plant team, we're on track to donate 100+ jars of peanut butter to FeedMore WNY. Anne McKenna from FeedMore stopped by yesterday to meet TEP Plant director Luis Cervantes, UAW Chairman Mike Grimmer, and UAW President JR Baker. Together as One Team, we're helping to stock pantries in our region.
