Growing up in the blog era of Hip Hop was awesome, and I'll always have a soft spot for the whole landscape - the blogs, datpiff mixtape drops, epic music videos & what they meant to the culture, discovering new underground artists, etc. Although times have changed into a more visual world dominated by social media, those of us who grew up in that era still gotta appreciate a good old fashioned, well written article that highlights underground music.
