Caelob Wilkins, a Kenmore East senior and a member of the Health Careers program at the Kenton CTE Center, put his skills to use providing life-saving aid to a neighbor in need! 👏

Caelob assisted a neighbor who experienced a critical issue with her dialysis machine that caused extensive bleeding. He used his education and training to apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding until paramedics could arrive.

Our Welding students at the Kenton Career and Technical Education Center were honored to help create this memorial to celebrate Carmella's life. We hope that the bench they created can provide comfort and remembrance for years to come. ❤

It's graduation week throughout Western New York, and we're so proud of everyone who chose to make Erie 1 BOCES part of their educational journey. Good luck to all of the hardworking, dedicated students at the Harkness Career and Technical Education Center who recently walked the stage at our completion ceremony. We know you'll make us proud no matter where life takes you! 🎓

In observance of Juneteenth, our offices will be closed on Friday, June 19. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and is a time for reflection, learning, and honoring freedom. Regular office hours will resume on Monday.
