On Tuesday, March 11th, GSEU met with SUNY and the State of New York to hold our 13th bargaining session to negotiate a new contract. Here is what happened at the last session:

Come join us for our first bar social of the spring semester on Thursday 1/30 at Brick House in Amherst! Members get a free drink! We will be discussing our bargaining campaign and upcoming actions while we kick back with our fellow workers 🍸🥪🍻🥗🍷

Tomorrow, Tuesday 12/10 from 10-11am we are having our last coffee and donuts social at the GSEU office. This time it will be all about co-working as we wrap up the final days of the semester 🍩📚📝

We had our info picket today, standing together as fellow graduate workers alongside 3 additional unions who showed up in solidarity with us. Solidarity Forever!!

Sorry for the late notice, but NYS and SUNY last minute gave us a bargaining date for THIS THURSDAY, NOV 14TH. Time to see if they finally have substantive responses to the many articles we have proposed and revised, such as Health and Safety, Discrimination, International Student Worker Rights and Protections, and many others.

Hi everyone! Slight adjustment to our social times this week, with Tea and Samosas available this Wednesday from 11:30-12:15 in CFA 265. This will be followed by our "trick or treat" campaign where we will walk though Capen asking UB admin for a trick (more actions!) or a treat (fair contract, anyone?) 🍫 hope to see you there!!

Double trouble this week!! Coffee and donuts social AND postcard / petition office hours? What could be a sweeter way of showing solidarity?? We'll be serving up Paula's Donuts as usual for our social, this time located in Park 474 (North Campus) from 9-10:30 AM on Tuesday ☕🍩 On Wednesday, we'll be in our office in Commons 200A (also North) from 11 AM to 1 PM, so stop by anytime! 💌
