Former Mazurek's Bakery owners opening new restaurant/bar in Buffalo - Buffalo Business First Plans call for a 5,200-square-foot artisan market with products from 125 vendors, a 1,200-square-foot restaurant and a bar.

The East Side Avenues Commercial Building Stabilization Fund is doing great things for East Buffalo. An award for roofing stabilization has allowed us to continue our mission of rehabilitating new second floor spaces for artists, creatives, and eclectic businesses. Huge thanks to Preservation Buffalo Niagara and the UB Regional Institute for coordinating all the programs. Much of the produce, dairy, and meat that was sold in early 1900’s Buffalo was shipped to the or brought in from regional farmers. Merchants had to be early risers - the market opened before dawn and the day was done by early afternoon.
