Wealth In Health Family Garden
We are doing a family garden at 2575 Main Street Buffalo, NY. Our goal is to connect and bring educational workshops of gardening and food.
Our Family which includes myself, QueeNia AsheeMa'at, my daughter, AAliyah Mya - 19 y.o., and my son, Asheem Ali - 9 y.o. have been dedicated to working with Grassroots Gardens and other urban gardeners for the past 6 growing seasons. Reminder ‼️
Sometimes, the most powerful shifts come from reimagining the familiar. Red creeping thyme may seem like a simple groundcover, but it offers a deeper invitation: to align our outdoor spaces with the rhythms of nature. Its lush, flowering carpet doesn’t just beautify the land—it supports pollinators, repels pests naturally, and requires far less water than traditional lawns.
This humble herb teaches us that sustainability and beauty aren’t at odds. When we choose plants that thrive in harmony with their environment, we become stewards of life rather than managers of maintenance. In every bloom, there's a reminder that nature doesn't need to be tamed to be enjoyed—it simply needs space to express its brilliance.
What would happen if we designed our spaces not just for aesthetics, but for healing, balance, and ecological well-being? Let’s root our choices in reverence for the Earth and reimagine our homes as living ecosystems. 🌸🌱
