Dallas County R-I Schools

Proud to see DCR1 represented at the DCI Summit at Lake of the Ozarks! Assistant Superintendent Benjamin Potter, Mallory Principal Nikki Gardner, and High School Principal Brandon Jackson led a workshop focused on aligning leadership around a shared district vision while empowering buildings to implement strategies that best fit their students’ needs.

Using our Academic 5 Year Plan as the foundation, they shared how our elementary and secondary teams work through different pathways, from Assessment Capable Learners to data based decision making, while still driving the same district goals forward. Thank you to our presenters for showcasing the collaboration, leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement happening at Dallas County R1!

BPMS Summer School Students will have the opportunity to attend the following field trip to Urban Air in Springfield on June 17th!

If you have recently driven past Buffalo Prairie Middle School, you may have noticed the fields are looking a little taller lately - and that is intentional!

We are letting the grass grow so it can be baled and used as hay for our agricultural program and FFA students. It’s a great way to put our resources to work while giving students real-world agricultural learning opportunities right here on campus!
