E-bike safety education is a cornerstone of Shared Mobility Inc.'s work, woven throughout our programs to ensure riders have the knowledge and confidence to ride safely.
Yesterday, Steve Bratspis of our CDPHP Cycle Team represented SMI at the Walk, Bike & Roll New York Symposium in Tarrytown, NY, where he presented on our approach to e-bike safety education. Drawing from lessons learned across our e-bike rebate initiatives, bikeshare systems, and other mobility programs, Steve highlighted the importance of pairing access to e-bikes with comprehensive safety education to support safe and successful adoption.
Thank you to New York Bicycling Coalition for inviting us to speak, and thank you to the organizers for bringing together transportation professionals, advocates, and community leaders committed to advancing active transportation across New York.

The weather is giving summer feels, so we gathered most of the staff earlier this week for a short bike ride to Buffalo City Hall's Observation Deck and then headed to Rosie's Handcrafted Ice Cream on West Utica Street for a sweet treat! 🍧 But not before paying a visit to GObike's founder and newly appointed Parking Commissioner Justin Booth! With bikeshare, less planning is needed for warm-weather skits like these!
