Looking for opportunity to support Compeer Rochester..here is an amazing way to do so!
We’re still looking for business and community sponsors who want to help make Rochester a little less lonely. The Compeer Mile is our annual community walk dedicated to connection, mental health, and belonging.
Sponsors help make this event possible while supporting Compeer’s mission of building meaningful, life-changing friendships for people in our community. If your business believes in showing up for mental wellness, we’d love to partner with you.

Steuben County Public Health, on behalf of Pivital Public Health Partnership
📞 One Call. One Connection. Pass it On.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, communities across the Finger Lakes Region are coming together with one simple message:
Connection matters.
In partnership with Pivital Public Health Partnership, local health departments across Chemung, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates counties are launching a regional campaign to support older adult mental health—starting with something small, but powerful:
👉 Pick up the phone. Call someone.
In rural communities, where distances are greater and access to services can be limited, staying connected isn’t always easy—especially for older adults living alone. Yet we know that social isolation and loneliness are linked to increased risk of depression hi, cognitive decline, chronic disease, and even premature death.
The good news?
It doesn’t take much to make a difference.
💬 A 5-minute call can mean everything
💬 A quick check-in can remind someone they matter
💬 One conversation can spark a chain of connection
Who will you call this week?
Make the call.
Check in.
Then pass it on. 💚
