You can make them ! Polymer clay ! Sculpy has different gold colors, and pretend that you’re smelting them during playtime !
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some help from my fellow Paignton parents. My 4-year-old has developed a very specific interest in collecting old gold and platinum jewellery, he’s particularly obsessed with those chunky old gold sovereign rings! 😅
I really want to encourage his curiosity, but my budget definitely can’t keep up with a child’s taste for fine metals! If anyone has any old, broken, or unwanted gold pieces or bits of scrap that look the part and you’d be happy to part with, he would be absolutely over the moon. If you have full sovereigns you don’t need or want that would be ideal. Just thought I’d ask before I go broke! Thanks in advance! ❤️

On man I wanna try
Another recently completed set of minis for the brownstone. The "formica" table is actually made from a free sample of panolam in thier latest retro line. The legs are thick wire, and its trimmed with silver duct tape and string, the black rubber feet are made from more duct tape blackened with sharpie. The chairs are made from kraftboard cut on the cricut, felt stuffing cut on the cricut, scrap pleather, and elastic cord painted to match. The dishes are my best imitation of fiestaware made from polymer clay.
