Farmers Market Season is upon us! We are working on our schedule but I can say we will be at Roswell Park's Wednesday Market for July & August :) Kenmore's Farmers Market June 28- October .... trying to fit a few more in..... Alden, Larkin, North Buffalo maybe if they will all have us and it works in our schedules! See you soon and can't wait to see our regulars we've missed you all winter!
Remember we are only here for the 2 weeks of Easter.... Monday - Saturday 8am-5pm Sunday 9-4, Holy Week Wednesday 8-6 Holy Thursday 6am-7pm, Good Friday 6am-7pm, Holy Saturday 6am-5pm ... See you then!
Don't forget we carry a full line of GLUTEN FREE pasta! Our GF are made on separate machines but in the same factory as the regular pastas. If your coming out or know someone who wants GF drop me a note to bring one out for you. They are $5.25 half $10.50 a full, they come will all the same full flavor and high quality that you expect from Pappardelle's n Pasta Temptations!

Its been a very busy 2 months for us BUT...Everyone we will be back at the Kenmore Farmers Market Saturday 8-noon, every other Saturday at UB South, next week Wednesday at Roswell and we are working on getting a worker for Fox Run...so stay tuned! Hope to see you all soon!

What's for dinner Grilled steaks and southwest orzo! Heres the recipe for southwest salad

Southwest Orzo with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Feta
1 lb. Pappardelle’s Southwest Orzo
¾ cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes*
2 tablespoons fresh oregano, finely chopped
2 tablespoons. lemon juice
¼ cup water*
4 oz. feta cheese, crumbled
4 oz. smoked chicken breast, shredded (optional)
1. Cook pasta in 6-8 quarts of rapidly boiling salted water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes).
2. Meanwhile, drain tomatoes, reserving 1 tablespoon of the oil. Cut tomatoes into thin slivers and place in large bowl. Add oregano, lemon juice, water, feta and chicken. Add the reserved 1 tablespoon of tomato oil and toss to combine.
-Or-
* Replace sun-dried tomatoes and water in Step 2 with Pappardelle’s Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto.
3. Drain orzo well and add to tomato-chicken mixture. Toss to combine. Can be served warm or cold.
Serves 6
