Letchworth Park Upper Falls

While trying to shoot long exposures of the upper falls, a blue heron landed along the gorge and fished. He gradually made his way up to the falls. I waited for him to pose at the point. He did catch 2 fish that day.

Letchworth State Park upper falls.

A few of my fellow photography club members and myself decided to spend the day at the park taking photographs around the park. We came to the overlook of the upper falls and the train trestle and the scene unfolded before me. So I tried to frame the shot as best as I could and captured the image.

Well, I was out with another member of the Southtowns Photography Club, just getting out to take some pictures. We were on our way out, and I looked over this wood fence and looked up. I thought that was rather unusual. Then I took the shot.
