After some much needed rest I can get back after it. If I just get my hands on the instrument it helps retain that muscle memory.

It's been a rough week for some of our good friends. Keeping them in our thoughts. Sometimes just playing clears your mind. It's cathartic

I'm at it again! Looking for the wrong notes but these notes sound pretty cool against a Minor 7 chord. Key of choice G minor. So thinking of G Dorian but also Pentatonic, Blues, half whole diminished, whole tone as well as G melodic Minor and D melodic minor as well. Just trying to stay in a safe zone and listen. Then maybe try a few things that sound good. It's a great practice method and yields good results.

A little practice time. Looking for relationships between A7 and diminished and melodic minor. The trick is resolving these.
