Buda PD Starts New Alarm Permit Registration Program

City of Buda Residents,
Starting today we have opened a new, customer-focused alarm permit registration program on our website, www.budatx.gov/alarmpermits .
Per city ordinance Art. 8.07, all residential and commercial burglary alarms with the expectation of police response are to be registered through the Buda Police Department.

While the ordinance has been in place for years, this new system allows us to better track false alarms and unregistered locations in order to make best use of police officer resources.
