Happy Hispanic Heritage Month 2026

Last Thursday, TAMACC President and CEO Pauline Anton was invited to Houston, Texas, to meet with the leadership of the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce & Entrepreneurship (National ACE). The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss shared priorities, strengthen relationships, and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two business organizations.

Mexican Spirits with a Woman’s Touch
An unforgettable celebration of Mexico’s spirits, traditions, and the women shaping the industry.

The Consulate General of Mexico in Austin, in collaboration with inspiring women leaders in the Mexican spirits industry, invites you to Mexican Spirits with a Woman’s Touch—an evening celebrating the talent, heritage, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit behind some of Mexico’s most iconic distilled beverages.

Join us for a unique experience where you’ll have the opportunity to:

Discover Mexico’s spirit traditions and learn about spirits with Denomination of Origin status, including Mezcal, Tequila, Raicilla, Sotol, Bacanora, and Charanda.

Experience the documentary Daughters of the Maguey (Hijas del Maguey), highlighting the stories and contributions of women in the world of agave and Mexican spirits.

Hear from industry experts during an engaging panel exploring business and trade opportunities between Mexico and the United States.

Meet women leading the industry, including producers, entrepreneurs, importers, distributors, and other spirits professionals.

Connect and build relationships during a dedicated networking session designed to strengthen business partnerships and community ties.

Come celebrate the women behind Mexico’s rich spirits heritage while discovering new flavors, stories, and opportunities for connection.

We look forward to welcoming you!
