Formally known as ALR Buckeye Post 53

I'm guessing this won't last more than a day either, but I'm still going to comment.

OK, I'm confused. I realized we moved our memberships to a post much closer to home, but I would still peek in here now and then to see what, if anything, had been added..

Yesterday I saw where Greg had posted saying that the post had voted out the bikers to where they literally didn't exist anymore at the post. Now Greg's post is completely gone and there's nothing beyond January 8 on this page, so apparently someone didn't like what he wrote.. silly me, I guess I should have cut and pasted it so I could pass it along.

Due to the fact that there wouldn't even BE a post in Buckeye if not for the riders I thought this cannot be true. How sad is this that all the hard work of the riders not only finding the property, but cleaned it up and made it a useable property for the American Legion Post 53 had not only been taken away from them, but they also got kicked to the curb.

This just gives me yet one more reason to cement the fact that changing Posts was the right decision for me. At least I was one less person the people in charge had to eliminate.

As per last night I was told that it would be easier to follow our post as a group and would be easier to find on facebook. So last night I created that group named the same as this page. I made it an open group so anyone can join us. Its really easy to find, type in the search bar "ALR Buckeye Post 53"

Just wanted to let everyone know there are a LOT more pictures that have been put up on the internet by other posts. I hope you take a moment or two to check them out because it's definitely worth the time.........

If you all don't know and those that do Post 53 American Legion, Auxillary, Sons, and Riders are having a Party for Christmas at the new Post (4 th st & Narrimore) Buckeye.
Please let Deann Fry know what you all are bringing so she can plan.
We need all the Party foods along with Christmas cakes and pies so be generous it the Hollidays.
We are only as strong as our members who work and party together.

Everyone dont forget about hour monthly meeting this Saturday and we have our yearly Christmas party at the vets home.

For all that did not attend us today, we had a great time with post 61 handing out Santa hats to everyone at the Vets home.
