Maybe you want the structure of a defined ‘season.’

Here’s my slightly rebellious take on it:
We can think and work outside of tiny boxes—if you want that.

At the heart of it, color analysis shouldn’t be about rigid rules.

It should be about awareness, choice, and the freedom to express yourself.

And if color analysis is art… it should give you the same freedom art does.

Art isn’t about following rules.
It’s about expression, choice, and creating something that feels true to you.

And that’s my client-first color analysis commitment:

We love to treat it like a science—precise drapes, formulas, systems, “rules.” But here’s the truth: color analysis is more art than science.

Why?

Perception is personal. 72 people can look at the same drape and see 72 different things.

Systems aren’t universal. If you were typed in 72 different methods, you could walk away with 72 different results—bc each system is looking for different qualities, using different palettes, and weighing traits differently.

Human eyes call the shots. At the end of the day, it’s not a lab test—it’s about how color interacts with your unique features, and how we interpret that interaction.

But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough: once you know it’s largely art, the question becomes… what kind of art do you want?
