Sanders for Mayor

I have received so many positive emails from citizens and friends about the possibility of running for Mayor of Bryant when we have the special election. After a tremendous amount of soul searching I have decided that I will NOT run for mayor in the special election.

I am willing to be considered as Interim Mayor to serve the city by using my skills and experiences to support the staff, engage the community, coordinate with the council and ensure the mayor you elect is set up for success.

Happy Election Day! Wanted to say thank you to everyone who has shown their support over the past few months. I could not have done this without you! Stay tuned for election results!

Before the excitement and expectation of Election Day begins, I want say a special “Thank You” to our many veterans who have given a part of their lives to make this day possible.

I am very proud to have lived the life of a military family. My dad was career Navy and my brother career Army. The sacrifice was often great, but guarding our freedom was their North Star. I am thankful for both of them.

As you vote today take a moment and whisper a “Thank You” to the men and women who served to give us the freedom and privilege make that vote.

Remember and honor.

I’ve been sharing my leadership experiences with you the past few days to demonstrate how I have responded to unexpected circumstances and to show my readiness to be your mayor.

For the past four years Bryant has needed action. I will begin on day one addressing those areas of need. We will take action on the water billing problem and the water system with the urgency that has been needed for the past few years. For infrastructure, roads and traffic, I will not delay in making important decisions, problems will be examined carefully and transparently-but action will NOT be delayed.

I’m hoping you’ve looked at my leadership experiences and will trust me with your vote for Bryant Mayor. The last day to vote is November 8!

I am very proud to have worked on both the Police Training Simulator and the new lights at the Midland Soccer Fields.

The training simulator will ensure our police officers receive situational based training for everything from routine traffic stops to an active shooter in the schools.

I worked with city council, the parks department and the community to ensure quick and easy approval for this project. So pleased to see these fields being utilized more than every before!

Both of these projects make Bryant a better place to live, work and play!
