Hello, my name is Kelly Kastner. After 30 years of teaching Math, Science, and Art in grade school and middle school, I’ve moved to tutoring students from home. Throughout the years, I kept seeing areas where students struggled in their core subjects. After leaving the classroom, I moved into tutoring to give families a simple plan to help their child succeed.

I am now helping 4-6th-grade math students pass with confidence during the 12 weeks, working with students using “The Success Steps System”.

How it works: Step 1 – Pinpoint areas of weakness→ Step 2 – Simplify their understanding of struggling areas → Step 3 – Strengthen the understanding of skills with practice. Step 4 – Succeed in homework, tests while building confidence.

Online sessions are available. I live in Texas and have a Bachelor's degree in teaching from Sam Houston State University. Certified in all Subjects 1-6, Generalist 4-8, Art EC-12, my love is in Math, Science, and Art. In addition, I have a Master's Degree in Administration. I also have extensive experience in the Texas State Test - currently the STAAR test.
