Only TWO DAYS LEFT until our GIANT Garage Sale supporting our Women's Ministry at SOS! The garage sale begins THIS FRIDAY morning at 7 AM. There will be tons of affordable clothes, furniture pieces, decorations, and much more! We are excited for y'all to come shop! All proceeds from this garage sale will benefit our Women’s Ministry activities and events.

Today, June 17th, is the LAST day to drop off donations! If you’ve been cleaning out your closet and have boxes piled up in the corner, feel free to drop them off at SOS today before 5pm. We'll see y'all soon!

This summer, YOU have the chance to change lives in our community! We need passionate volunteers to help us share the Gospel with nearly 180 kids through SOS On Location & we can't do it without you. Whether you're a part of a church, small group, or just someone who loves kids & Jesus... this is your moment to step up and be the hands & feet of Jesus!

Serve with us Monday nights in July as we learn how to live Unbroken because God is with us through Bible lessons, sweet small group conversations, wild games, and unforgettable fun!

Happy Friday, everyone! Our Women’s Ministry GIANT Garage Sale is happening NEXT WEEK! Come by Friday and Saturday, from 7am-2pm for great deals and to support our Women’s Ministry.

There will also be NO Friday Night Worship tonight. We will see you next week for our Garage Sale!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to take 20 SOS kids to the Kid's Day Horse Workshop hosted by the Brazos Extension Horse Committee at the Freeman Arena! The kids had so much fun interacting with the horses, learning how to care for them, & riding them! They groomed horses, did medical checks, learned about making horseshoes & so much more! Thank you so much to the Brazos Extension Horse Committee for providing this incredible opportunity for our kids to interact with these amazing animals!

This past week 15 SOS kids attended Stoney Creek Ranch for a week full of incredible God moments! Kids were able to zipline, fish, blob, swim, play games & so much more! But more than the fun activities, kids learned what it means to put on the Armor of God & to live as children of God! Through speaker sessions, devotionals, worship, & small groups, the kids had time to grow in their relationship with the Lord and draw near to Him. Throughout the week we saw walls come down, friendships being made, & kids learn that they each have gifts that God has given them to glorify Him! And the very best part of camp...8 of our kids gave their life to Jesus or rededicated their life to Him & were able to ring a bell at camp declaring their decision to walk with Christ!

Thank you to all of our donors who gave generously to give the kids the opportunity to attend camp & thank you to all of you who joined us in prayer. God answered in amazing ways!

Happy Friday, SOS Family! We are excited to be back TONIGHT at 7:30 pm for our community wide First Friday Night of Prayer & Worship! Join us in unifying the body of Christ with worship, prayer, and fellowship! We will have family worship tonight, so Children's Church and Nursery will NOT be provided. The service will also be available for streaming through Facebook Live. This will be our last Friday Night gathering for the month of June, and we will join back together in July. We are grateful for each of you and look forward to seeing you tonight!

We had the honor of celebrating our graduating high school senior! He not only graduated from high school, but also from our Teen Boys Ministry. He has attended SOS programs since he was a child, and what a blessing it has been to watch him grow in his faith! Please join us in praying for God’s blessings, protection, and guidance over him as he begins this exciting new chapter of his life. God is so faithful, and we stand on His good promises and plans!

SOS On Location is coming up SOON and we need YOUR help! Come serve with us every Monday night in July to share the love of Jesus with kids & their families in multiple neighborhoods across the Brazos Valley.

This year’s theme is “Unbroken: God With Us”. Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong & courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Our heart for this year is that kids would see that they can stand firmly on Christ despite their circumstances or trials because God is ALWAYS with us! We pray as we look through the stories of Hagar, Joseph, David, & Mephibosheth, that each child would see how God is with them in every moment. This summer, we believe God will stir up the hearts of young children and raise up a generation of disciples who seek Jesus above all else & live on mission for the Gospel.
