Russian forces are massing on Ukraine's border. Bluff or not, Putin is playing with fire 04/10/2021

Thanks for sharing. I still care very much about what’s happening in this part of the world. 🇺🇦

Russian forces are massing on Ukraine's border. Bluff or not, Putin is playing with fire For an army given to masking its moves, surely the worst way to disguise a potential imminent invasion of a country is by overtly preparing for it.

Most people here have no idea what is really going on in this region of the world.

As many of you know, adoption has been a huge part of my life. I was adopted as a baby and have adopted five children from Eastern Europe, and that area is very close to my heart. For years I had this organization, The Bridge Orphan Ministries that created awareness and supported different aspects of adoption. Due to life changes and detours I had to take a hiatus from this organization for a while. To say I have missed it would be an understatement. My life has come to a place now where I am ready to get involved again and start to work on the organization again. Thank you to all who have supported me in the past and I look forward to working with something that really gives meaning to my life. Thank you again, Randy Hermes.

Please click on the link below to read about the work that Open Arms Ukraine is doing for the people in the war-torn areas of Eastern Ukraine and see what you might be able to do to help. The population there is really hurting and you do not hear much in the news about the terrible personal struggles happening there.

FUNDRAISER TO HELP UKRAINE
Eastern Ukraine is the hardest hit by the violence between Russian separatists and the Ukrainian military. This region is where my children were born and spent their youth and also the area the Bridge Orphan Ministries concentrates most its efforts on. I have friends there that keep me updated on the situation and how dangerous it is. The orphanage where four of my adopted children grew up was bombed recently. Fortunately the children were away at summer camp. I am not sure where they will go now. The church I work with has lost members to the fighting, and reportedly Russian rebels have been targeting Evangelical Christian pastors and church members. Many people are trying to relocate to safer areas in Ukraine. I have friends there that have connections and are trying to help these people, but it takes money. The Bridge Orphan Ministries is setting up a drive to collect money to help these people. There are no administrative costs involved and all of the money collected will go to Ukraine to help. You can send checks to our main mailing address. Contact me if you have questions or would like to help in other ways. Prayers are always welcome.
