Due to unforeseen circumstances, this Saturday’s fishing tournament will be temporarily postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience, and will host th event at a later date in the coming months. The new date will be announced soon.

Our President is running for SHSU Homecoming Queen! Makenzie is a Senior graduating in December with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health! The Joshua,Texas native loves three things, her sorority Zeta Tau Alpha, Elton John, and advocating for Ryan’s Challenge! If placed as a Top three finalist, she will walk Ryan on the field at Bower’s Stadium! Voting is open to students next week! SHSU students, check your student email for voting updates next week and vote Makenzie! 👑✨

Update: Our Youth Fishing Tournament for this coming Saturday in College Station has been cancelled. We will still be hosting our adult fishing tournament October 19th at Lake Somerville. We apologize for any inconvenience, and encourage the public to attend the next tournament.

Prayers for Ryan, he took a spill on the steps today, but he is doing ok! Ryan’s injuries show the impact vEDS has on his blood vessels, and how a minor accident can turn into a serious situation very quickly. ...

To top off an amazing summer, we have some very exciting news! We now have our own ICD-10 Code for vEDS! With our new code, Ryan’s Challenge can now gain more access to grants and can better promote awareness! This is a huge leap not only for Ryan, but the entire vEDS community as a whole! Congrats to everyone who contributed to make this happen! . .
