We survived the Texas heat! Our EMS summer cookout was a blast with beach volleyball, football, and we got to listen to Dr. Buzzard talk about hemorrhagic shock and trauma assessment.
We always look forward to guiding our students through the paramedic program to achieve their goal of being a certified paramedic.
This past year has been a special cohort since we partnered with Montgomery County Hospital District to train their employees.
This semester, we graduated 12 outstanding students that are continuing their journey of impacting and improving people’s lives.

Since this is such a beautiful Texas morning, we moved EMT lab outside! Our outdoor space even has a beach volleyball court and hammocks for the students!

We had a blast this evening! Our paramedic students were invited to serve the local community by teaching CPR to Trail Life USA Troop 1836. These kids are ready to save some lives!

We ended our airway management course with cadaver lab today. Nothing beats this amazing experience to build confidence and mastery of critical skills. These students are turning into some rockstar paramedics! Thank you to Centre of Emergency Health Sciences for having us.

Our paramedic students are currently learning about airway management. Who better to teach ventilator management than our guest lecturer, CJ of the Cy-Fair FD. PIP, Pplat, Vt, Ve, IBW, Pressure control vs volume control ventilation......our students learned some of the important terminology and how to correctly manage a patient on a ventilator. Thanks CJ!
