Introducing one of our newest faculty members, Dr. Isabelle Louge!
Louge is a clinical assistant professor in our Food Animal Ambulatory Medicine service. She earned her bachelor's degree and DVM at Cornell University and, after working in private mixed/large animal practice for a while, returned to Cornell to complete a residency in Ambulatory and Production Medicine.
"My main interests are in production medicine, herd health, parasite management, and preventative care of small ruminants and cattle. I also enjoy working with pigs and chickens," Louge said. "I am most looking forward to serving the needs of Texan farmers while creating teaching opportunities for students here at Texas A&M."

This week conducted training on trench rescue. All 3 shifts were able to train on the scenario of a vehicle in a trench with a victim.
It is imperative that we slow down in construction zones and pay close attention when operating motor vehicles. AS ALWAYS BE SAFE OUT THERE.

120 members of our DVM Class of 2022 are among the first veterinarians in the country eligible to receive the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)'s new Veterinary First Responder Certificate!
Veterinary students who complete the Veterinary Emergency Team’s (VET) fourth-year clinical rotation meet the requirements for the certificate, which certifies veterinarians who are trained to assist in disaster situations.
