Rudder Rangers Track & Field

Earlier today, our student-athlete Nicholas Morton was recognized during a special ceremony honoring the honor graduates of James Earl Rudder High School.

Nicholas not only excels on the Track but has now officially made the honor roll, too! In addition to being celebrated for this academic milestone, he also received his graduation stole, which he will proudly wear to graduation on Saturday, May 23.

Guests at the ceremony were treated to a great breakfast prepared by the Rudder High School Culinary Arts students.

Congratulations, Nicholas on your hard work! Keep making us proud!

Roderick Harris III has officially wrapped up the most decorated sprinting career in School history! His 4th and 5th place finishes in the 200m and 100m are highest in school history as he just missed the podium!

Great season for the 4x100 team of De’kotah Jessie, Christiana Densey, Ginasia Allen, Jada Harris! A top 5 finish in the finals in one of the fastest regions in the State! The girls also finish top 8 in the region in the 4x2!

The girls 4x400 team of Precious Kennard, Jada Harris, MaKenzie Adkinson, and Ty’tiana Randle finish the season as the 10th fastest team in the Region and just miss qualifying for the finals!

Sophomore Mychal Heard finishes his season as the 3rd ranked 10th grader in the region with PR’s in both the 100m (10.73) and 200m (22.15)🔥

Finals begin at 1pm stating with the 4x1!
