We are so grateful to recognize Meag as Silver Horse Ranch Therapeutic Riding's Volunteer of the Month!

Meag consistently shows up with a positive attitude, a willingness to help wherever needed, and a genuine heart for our riders and horses. Whether she's leading a horse, sidewalking alongside a rider, or helping behind the scenes, her dedication makes a difference in every lesson.

It is that time of year in Texas! Baths after lessons are not just beneficial for the horse, but the rider too! Learning to properly take care of your horse shaped partner is so important!

We are back!!

It’s our first week of summer session! It is a joy to see everyone back in the saddle. I forgot to take pictures yesterday, but today and yesterday had some wonderful rides! What is not pictured from today is that both riders did their first trot!! I am so proud of them!

Some new volunteers went through training on Wednesday! We are so excited for them to join the team!

Our volunteers are at the foundation of what we do. They allow lessons to be safe, nurturing, and fun. We are grateful for every single one of them!

Our horses are getting some custom signs!!

What a fantastic way to wrap up our first semester of lessons!

Saturday marked our final lesson day before summer break, and we couldn’t have asked for a better finish. Our riders worked hard, our horses were amazing partners, and everyone had a great time in the arena.

We are so proud of all the progress our riders have made this semester and grateful for our volunteers, families, and horses who make it all possible. Thank you for being part of this journey, we can’t wait to see what the next session brings! We will be back in the saddle in two weeks!

RD was the star of the show on Friday . He was incredibly relaxed from start to finish, complete with a floppy lip! He listened beautifully, a lot of that credit goes to his riders for giving clear, consistent cues! Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures during the second lesson, but trust us when we say they did an amazing job!
