Canaan Cemetery Cleanup Project

Thank you to everyone who attended the Rededication yesterday! We had a great turnout and it was wonderful to see everyone!

Over two years later, Canaan Cemetery is restored, rededication takes place Canaan historical Cemetery in Brazos County was rededicated back to the families whose relatives are buried there.

Historical Canaan Cemetery to be rededicated to families of those buried there Historic Canaan Cemetery has gone through years of restoration efforts and now the land will be rededicated back to the families.

That's a wrap! We had 18 volunteers come out today to help clean and level headstones and finish last minute w**d trimming before the rededication. The cemetery is looking amazing!

Beautiful morning for our 22 volunteers to come out and clear brush for the last time before the rededication! It looks amazing and we were able to rest 2 headstones that fell decades ago!

The weather was perfect yesterday! We had a total of 12 volunteers help out. The cemetery is looking amazing!

Make great progress this morning with our small group of 10!

Today's workday was short and sweet due to the storm that came upon us! We still had an amazing group of 55 volunteers come out! Almost filled up a dumpster in an hour! Great job everyone!

We had 22 volunteers this morning! It was hot but a lot of work was accomplished!

We had a hard working group of 11 come out this morning! Lots of brush hauled off!

Had a hard working group of 10 this morning! Some family members showed up to help and more family showed up to learn about Canaan!

Made great progress today with the 18 volunteers and the extra w**deaters today! A big shout out to House of Tires for taking the tires that were dumped at the cemetery!

If you are joining us tomorrow morning, please bring a heavy duty w**d eater or brush cutter if you have one! All this rain has things growing like crazy!
