We live life on the go a lot. Between work, school, practices, errands, travel, long shifts, and busy schedules… it’s not always easy to meal prep or realistically bring a meal with you everywhere you go.
Say what you will about fast food — there’s sodium, a lot of it is fried, and no, it’s probably not the “ideal” option.
And yet… our bodies still need fuel.
Sometimes something is better than nothing. And sometimes the goal isn’t perfection — it’s simply making a smarter choice than we would have otherwise.
This post isn’t about glorifying fast food. It’s about helping you navigate real life a little better when the drive-thru is what fits that day.
Here are some higher-protein, more balanced options that can help you make smarter choices when real life is happening.

ArmorFit teamed up with the experts at TM Hair to break down some of the biggest myths about hair care after the gym — because healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp 💆♀️
😅Sweat itself isn’t the enemy, but sweat + oil + buildup sitting on the scalp over time can create problems most people don’t think about. And while dry shampoo can help in a pinch, it’s not a replacement for actually cleansing your scalp.
One thing TM Hair emphasized: if you’re dealing with thinning hair, excessive shedding, irritation, or hair loss, don’t ignore it. Seeing a professional can help you figure out what’s really going on early.
At the end of the day, feeling good and looking healthy often go hand in hand — and taking care of yourself includes more than just your workouts. 💪🏼

February: When Motivations Fade By February, the shine of New Year's goals has usually worn off. Life picks back up, schedules get messy, and motivation dips. What seemed clear has gotten a little murky, and we ask ourselves, "I've already messed up, what's the point?"Let's clear something up right now:Falling off does not mean fa...

We don’t train to earn worth.
We train as stewards of what we’ve been given.
Discipline matters—but it’s not the source.
Strength matters—but it’s not the savior.
We show up.
God sustains.

Why the rebrand? Let’s talk about it.
Q: Why change from Coach Laura Hamilton?
A: Coach Laura Hamilton didn’t go anywhere—I just got married.
To avoid confusion with names (and because the vision is bigger than just me), it made sense to build a brand that could grow beyond one person.
Q: Why ArmorFit?
A: ArmorFit is rooted in the armor of God from Ephesians.
The logo is intentional:
• The shield represents the shield of faith
• The cross is formed by a barbell and a rowing oar
• Look closely at the oar and you’ll see a sword—symbolizing the Word of God
Q: Do the colors mean anything?
A: Yes. Every detail was chosen with purpose.
• Deep blue represents royalty
• Red represents the blood of Christ
Same heart. Same coaching.
Just a brand built for what’s ahead.

First Monthly Blog Post!
January: Setting Goals that Last Every January, we talk about goals. New habits - New routines - New versions of ourselves. ...but if we're honest with ourselves, many goals fade by February, not because we didn't want them badly enough, but because we aimed too broadly and planned too vaguely. Goals should be aligned, actionable,....
