We've been watching the weather all week, and the range is a little soggy, but the match is still on. Remember we walk the range from the firing line to the 100 yard berm to score the first stage, so dress appropriately.

We held our August match on the 1st, and had really great weather. Just a slight amount of wind and very little mirage. We also had a great turnout of 15 shooters, half of them were in the production class and 4 of them were shooting the match for the first time. The Open class ended in a tie for the top score, so a shoot-off was held to determine the winner. Mike Fendley was first in Open, and Brett Parkinson was second. In the Production Class, Sean McKinney was first and Russell Magbee was second.

After being rained out from the May match, the June match was perfect! No rain, no wind, and just a touch of Mirage at times. William Cross won the Open class, with Brett Parkinson coming in a close second. Michael Lewis shot his first match here, and won the Production class, and Sean McKinney came in second. Well done to all!

The CAPRS match tomorrow morning is cancelled due to weather.

Sorry for the 2-week delay! The March match was held under nearly perfect conditions, once we allowed the fog to burn off. Todd Reeves won the Open class with Mike Fendley coming in second. Marlyn Mitchell won the Production class (with a score almost in the Open range!) and Roland Pugh came in second.

The February match is in the books. A little cold, almost no wind, but tons of mirage. Brett Parkinson won the open class, with Todd Reeves placing second. In the production class, Marlyn Mitchell took first and Roland Pugh came in second.

Congrats to the overall points champion for 2025 - Brent Parkinson. This is Brent's second year in a row, but using a different r***e. Good equipment is a factor, but the most important is the shooter.

We were able to pull of the match yesterday, with only periodic rains. The skies opened up after the match was completed! Todd Reeves won the Open class, with Brent Parkinson coming with a close second. We had 4 new shooters competing as well - great to see the new faces.

We are trying our best to keep the match tomorrow, but the weather doesn't seem to want to co-operate. If it is raining tomorrow morning at 8:00 am, assume that the match has been canceled.

Looking to Saturday and the high power match - it may not look good. Currently stands at a 90% chance of rain. Mark will review the weather radar and make a call around noon tomorrow.
