Gary's story: After many years in prison, Brunswick native, Gary, wanted to turn his life around. However, with a criminal record and seriously deteriorating health, Gary found difficulty with employment and housing. Gary informed The Well Resource Team he had exhausted all avenues and believed the rest of his life would be a struggle on the streets. With help from The Well, Gary was able to connect with out-of-town family who he had lost contact with for many years. His family was very happy to hear from Gary and offered him a place to live with them. Gary is now housed and cared for and can live his life without the constant worry of housing and medical care. Gary calls FaithWorks leadership daily to check in on his friends and family in Brunswick. He was excited to share that he has recently been baptized and has deepened his faith in Christ, a journey he began at The Well. He often says, “I never knew life could be so good and meaningful.”

I am so humbled by God’s grace and favor♥️ It’s such an amazing feeling to know when you’re doing what God has ordained for your life. Holy Spirit thank you for being my FRIEND!

Approximately 2 days ago someone whom I really cared for committed SU***DE… Listen guys I am OLD SCHOOLED BIBLE… what I mean is this the word of God is assured!!! Can I truly define AGAPE LOVE?? That’s how we are taught biblically to love. Love the person hate the SIN!!! The last words this beautiful soul said to me was “ I love you, Ms. Ida”!! Thank you, for helping me! Really do love you from my heart!!! But guess what all I did was try my best to express and show the AGAPE LOVE OF CHRIST!!! My feelings are hurt! Because given a little time! I was on my way to see my dear friend but she passed before I had a chance to get there! FENTANYL is a nasty EVIL!!!
