Brunswick Police Association (BPA) is... The Brunswick Police Association (B.P.A.) The group raises money for police and community projects. Chief J.E. The B.P.A.

is a Non-Profit incorporated association open to all members of the department. The annual fundraiser for the association is the well known Policeman's Ball. Register initiated the ball in 1947 as a means of raising money for the School Boy Patrol. The association celebrated the 60th anniversary of the ball in 2007. The Brunswick Police Association's 3rd annual sponsored Easter Egg Hunt was a great success. The people who took the time to go out of their way to brighten the lives of others deserve the sweetest thanks of all. Everyone mentioned below is one of those wonderful people, and your thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed & is appreciated so much by the Brunswick Police Association. A GRACIOUS thanks to our partner of this event Longhorn’s/Manager Matt Leipau (who provided lemonade, cookies, cups, and napkins for the event). Thank you SO MUCH to our monetary donors for the event: Roy Boyd of Boyd Law Firm, Kona Ice, Captain Matthew Wilson, Captain Jose Galdamez, Investigator Anthony Trollinger (II Tight motorcycle club), Alvin Alan (Citizen), Records Clerk Ynika McIver, Investigator/BPA President Carla Futch, and T.A.C./BPA Treasurer Lelia Flowers. Many THANKS to all that donated items for the event: Cassandra & Raymond Coffey (plastic eggs filled with goodies), Bounce & Splash party rental out of Wayne County (petting zoo), City of Brunswick City Hall (tables & chairs), City of Brunswick Public Works, Family Fun Bounce Houses, Officer Jasmine Jordan, PIO Carrie Hogan (flyer), Smoke Kings (hot dogs), Brittany Cobb (photographer). Thanks to all who dedicated their time to assist with the event: City of Brunswick Fire Department (Sparky along with several other firefighters), Interim Battalion Chief Richard Bue, Assistant Chief Post & wife Ellen Post, Investigator Trollinger (Hip Hop Easter Bunny), Kingsland Police Department Officer Flowers, VARIOUS Brunswick Police Department officers, several Brunswick Police Association Board Member’s children & family. Today the Brunswick Police Department in partnership with Longhorn Steakhouse-Brunswick hosted a Community Easter Egg Hunt. What a turnout! Brunswick Fire Department even brought Sparky out to enjoy some fun!! And what can we say about Peter Rabbit? He is always a great addition!

The Brunswick Police Association is sponsoring a 50/50 raffle to help further our mission in supporting local families this holiday season. The winner will take home half of the pot.
As an association, we sponsor community events, give scholarships, assist officers in crisis, host retirement parties and much more. Tickets can be picked up at 206 Mansfield Street. Thank you in advance for our support!
