Be sure to note that the IRS states that the Tax Free portion of Overtime Pay is ONLY on the "half" portion of time and a half. This means that you will be paying taxes on the regular pay per hour portion of any overtime hours. You will ONLY get the extra half portion tax free. Please do NOT change your withholding! If you did, please change it back so that you will not owe a large amount at the end of the year.

Please note that the deduction for tips cannot exceed your net income from the job in which you earned them. It also is limited to $25,000 in tips.
