MK Fire Design

Over the years I have had a fun time learning Adobe illustrator. With CNC work I have been able to create vectors no problem. When my son needed new graphics I knew it would be cheaper for me to design them and print them locally. My son wanted blue and orange for this bike. The front graphics are stock and still is decent shape. I designed the rear number plates, the front fender and front number plate. Designing and printing it at allowed me to keep this bike within budget. The 03 wr project is next!

IMI oversized tank, this was for a 03wr. The shrouds had to be changed to a 03 - 05 yzf. Had to get a seat for a mid 2000's yz as well. Front fender is from a 2015 wr250f. Rear fender is a 03-05 yz250f. Blue from the tank forward and black from the seat back!

Our carved versions allows us to make a budget flag with the same quality as our normal flags.

Day one of the teardown. Suspension is about to get done next week. I plan to have some clips of that. Tires, chain, sprocket, full grease job, all fluid and hoses will be replaced! We started late but I think I can get it done before April!

It's never a dull moment in the shop. My oldest destroyed this rear diff in his Hoss. It got replaced with a .racing rear diff.

These axes get sanded down to remove all the massive imperfections, then a hyper blend very fine finishing disc will remove all the small infections. I do not and will not polish these to a mirror finish. I am not a metal guy by any means. I finish with about 200 grit sandpaper on the DA so give it this uniform look before I laser it.

I think the tip is going to be powdercoated black?

I have always been an FMF guy my whole life. I think I'll give these guys a shot.

What I think I'm going to love about this system is the tunability.

I ended up getting a .34 mm tip, and a spark arrestor insert. It comes with a quieter tip/spark arrestor and the racing tip. I think I'm covered for any riding here in Indiana.

Sometimes the first steps are small....
I want to be able to at least have the smallest idea of what the temps are.

Thank you ! Our 2003 WR 250f build is about to begin.

It's been years since I have completely rebuilt a bike. This 2003 has 168.7 miles on it and is completely stock. This year I plan to get this back back into the woods where it was designed to be raced!

My son having his 50 we plan to focus on the fundamentals or riding this year, and getting him use to different terrain.

This will be completely build by me, from the suspension all the way to the custom printed graphics!
