We pray that, as a church body, we would be mastered by the Word.

That's exactly what Connection Pointe Carmel Fan Fest is all about.
Join us on Friday, June 19 for a free afternoon of soccer, inflatables, food, games, and family-friendly fun beginning at 2 PM. Then stick around as we cheer on Team USA against Australia on the big LED screen at 3 PM.

When we fall short, we do not need to earn our way back to God.
Because Jesus died for us on the cross, all we have to do is place our faith in Him and repent.
God sees us, loves us, and deeply desires for His children to draw near to Him. His grace is always available, and His arms are always open.
When we open God’s Word, we’re not simply reading words on a page—we’re inviting God to speak, teach, and transform us.
Philippians 2:5-11 calls us to look to Jesus, who humbled Himself, took the form of a servant, and obeyed the Father completely.
As we learn to read Scripture, may we approach it with humble hearts that ask, “Lord, what do You want to show me? What are You saying to me through Your Word?”
The goal isn’t just to understand the Bible more. It’s to know Christ more and allow His truth to shape the way we think, live, and follow Him.

Students Camp was a week full of fun, friendship, and powerful moments with God. Watching our students worship boldly, grow in their faith, and encourage one another reminded us that God is truly moving in the next generation. We’re so thankful for every memory made and every life impacted this week.

“We’re not coming to the Word to master it. We’re coming to the Word of God to be mastered by it.”
When we open Scripture, our goal isn't simply to gain more knowledge or find answers that fit our perspective. We come with humble hearts, asking God to reveal His truth and transform our lives.
The question isn't just, "What do I think this passage means?" but, "Lord, what are You saying to me through Your Word?"
As we study, learn, and seek to understand the full scope of God's message, we position ourselves to be shaped by His truth rather than shaping it to fit our preferences.
May we approach God's Word with humility, expectancy, and a willingness to be changed.
