JC Construction, LLC importing fill dirt on this beautiful Saturday for the New LSUE baseball stadium. We are excited to be a part of this new state of the art baseball stadium.

We are currently looking to fill open positions at JC Construction.
Positions: Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator and Dump Truck Drivers and Heavy Equipment Haulers.

Heavy Equipment Operator

Summary:
Responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment assigned to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Operating a variety of equipment including, excavators, dozers, and skid steers.
•Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
•Performing other duties on the jobsite when not operating equipment.
•Following all safety protocols.
•Able to read plans and use grade rods.
•Performs general manual labor task including, but not limited to:
•lifting and moving materials,
•loading and unloading vehicles,
•digging and refilling holes,
•Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
•Individually lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
•Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather.
•Valid Driver’s License
Equipment Requirements:
•Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in operating and maintaining excavator, dozer, and skid steer.

If you have experience hauling heavy construction equipment, can drive a tri-axle dump truck and are ready to work, come join our team! Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule - weekends and occasional nights.

Applicant must have a valid Louisiana driver’s license, current Medical card and MVR must be able to meet company and DOT requirements. Salary DOE.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical and background check, as well as regular random drug screens upon being hired.
