Tomorrow, we're standing in solidarity with the general strike to protest DHS and ICE.
We want to be transparent - as a small business, closing our doors would directly hurt the workers who are a huge part of making Hinterlands what it is: a safe space for our communities to feel included. Instead, we are participating in a way that we can - CASH BAR ONLY. No money to the credit card companies. No support to the systems that have failed us.
We believe resistance doesn't have to look one way to be impactful. This is us refusing to funnel money into systems that don't align with our values, while still protecting the people who rely on this work to survive.
Thank you for meeting us where we are. We love you, we stand with you, and we will get through this together.
