Maybe Japan for a future P&P? While there recently, we visited Glover Garden, named after Thomas Blake Glover, a Scotsman who came to Japan in the mid 1800's when he was 21 years old and helped with the modernization of the country. He was involved in shipbuilding, coal production and - most importantly - founded Japan Brewery Company, which later became Kirin Beer. Glover also held meetings of rival Samurai on the grounds.
