The Olympus Academy Father's Day Game Night was a very uplifting, relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Witnessing families especially the fathers and children bond over friendly competition was a truly heartening experience.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Ms Disnerys Molina, the Parent Coordinator and her team for extending the invitation to my office and ensuring that our fathers feel celebrated.

FYI Weather Advisory

The NYC Emergency Management Department advises New Yorkers to prepare for potential high heat and thunderstorms from Wednesday, 6/10 to Friday, 6/12. The National Weather Service has forecasted a total of 0.15 to 0.5 inches of rain with locally higher amounts of 1.5 inches possible.

Periods of heavy rain may cause flooding in the city, including highways, streets, basements, and underpasses. During periods of heavy rain causing flooding, seek higher ground or, if in a basement, move to a higher floor. City agencies have taken action to clean catch basins and remove street litter in the event heavier rain occurs.

Heavy rain may create dangerous travel conditions:

New Yorkers are advised to limit travel and stay inside during periods of severe weather.

If you must travel, exercise caution. Do not drive your vehicle or walk into areas where water covers the roadway as the water depth may be too great to allow you to cross safely.

If you are outside during a thunderstorm, avoid open areas and try to seek shelter indoors.
