We helped light up the skyline this past weekend for the long-awaited return of their Brooklyn festival. Each neon letter was on its own panel like a giant menu board and we painted the 6’ tall letters by hand too, because you know how we do. This was our fourth time collaborating with Afropunk since we first worked with them back in Bed-Stuy 6 or 7 years ago. It’s great to have this iconic event back in BK and we even got to make a new version of the Hair & Beauty Village sign we designed for them in 2018. Thanks to Aisha and the rest of the AP crew for helping us pull this off, and congrats on another great weekend on the books! 🖤🖤🖤
