Chai (Masala Edition) featuring my dear friend (Adobo Papi) is finally out!

Leo has inspired me in ways he doesn’t even know. His first EP, Letters To: Home, empowered me to reflect on my South Asian roots. It helped me embrace and recognize the role that my identity can play in my music. That feeling ultimately became the impetus for Chai—my letter to home. When I first performed the song, Leo showed up to support, and right after the show, he enthusiastically asked if he could write a rap verse for it. It was an automatic yes.
Leo brings a positive, uplifting energy wherever he goes—you feel it instantly in person, and now you can hear it in this track.

It’s been a blast performing this song in different spaces with him, and I’m so thrilled that he is part of the official release.
