And somehow I’m still catching up to the man he’s becoming.

Watching you grow into your own has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Not just as your father, but as a man. You move with heart. You think for yourself. You stand in your truth, and I’m proud of the man you’re becoming.

Seeing you step into music, not because it’s mine but because it’s yours… it’s a different kind of pride. You’re not following my footsteps. You’re carving your own path with the same fire, the same curiosity, the same respect for the craft. That’s all I could ever hope for.

You’ve grown into a strong, thoughtful, grounded young man. I’m proud of your talent. But I’m even more proud of your character.

Happy birthday, my boy. I love you so much and I’ll never stop telling you how proud I am.

Where do I begin. As I was playing yesterday, all I could think was, this is the truth. This room represents who I am as a DJ. This is the culture as I know it and where I belong. It felt fully aligned. Free. Honest. Just the music and your collective vibes. Grateful to finally have a space in NY like Refuge, that allows that kind of freedom. Thank you NYC. My deepest love for keeping me locked in for 16+ hours — Respect!

Another year behind us with so much to reflect on. Everything I do starts with my family. Their love, patience, and support keep me steady in a life that rarely slows down. I couldn’t do any of this without them. I’m deeply grateful for my friends and colleagues, and for the journey music continues to give me. I feel healthy, clear, and aligned.
