About the artist:

NEMZ was born and raised in New York City. He is a graffiti writer, illustrator, painter and visual artist utilizing multiple mediums. NEMZ was fascinated by graffiti while traveling on the train going to school as a child...always noticing graffiti writers and artists who paved the way before him. Studying typography and letter structure was something that has always captivated NEMZ. His love for graffiti seemed to be a natural calling and he began his career in 2001. NEMZ is most known for his hand styles and use of color. His versatility helped him master each element of graffiti and for the last two years has been perfecting his pieces with consistent progress. He earned his stripes by what is called “Street bombing” i.e., proliferating his name by applying it publicly in multiple locations internationally. NEMZ has a natural eye for patterns, technique, color theory, gradients, calligraphy and photography, which he applies to his studio practice. He is highly influenced by his peers, fashion, and nature. At current, NEMZ is branching out into different territories in the art world, keeping in mind that his work exists and evolves indoors as well as outdoors.
