Associate Professor Giuseppe Loianno (ECE, NYU Wireless) is among the experts The Wall Street Journal asked to predict AI's future. By 2030, he foresees AI dramatically enhancing robots' autonomy and capabilities.
Associate Professors Ludovic Righetti (ECE, MAE, New York University Center for Urban Science and Progress - CUSP ) and Giuseppe Loianno (ECE, WIRELESS) are giving keynote talks at prestigious robotics conferences ICRA@40 and IROS 2024, respectively. Righetti, known for legged locomotion research, discussed the future of his field at ICRA@40. Loianno, an expert in autonomous robots, will speak about speeding up flying machines at IROS. Both researchers have received numerous awards for their work. Their contributions are crucial to NYU Tandon's robotics faculty, which focuses on developing principles and algorithms for autonomous intelligent machines to enhance various sectors in an automated future.
