Yesterday our founder had the opportunity to speak at the press conference about diaper poverty. As the first diaper bank in E.N.Y Brooklyn NY for the past 3 years we have actively advocated on a state and federal level for funding from legislators in office to help keep our programming sustainable. Along with our fellow NY diaper bank coalition, we can first hand say this work is not easy but we put up a good fight to keep babies healthy dry and clean. We are asking to invest in families by investing in solutions. It’s not just about diapers it’s about equity, public health, and the well being of our next generation.

Special thanks to Senator Persaud and Assembly Member Solages for continuously advocating for the NY Diaper Bank coalition.

Join us this Thursday Dec 11th from 3-5pm for our annual Toy Distribution. Registration is fully closed, unregistered attendees please do come after 4pm. Your child must be with you in order to receive a gift.

We had an amazing time last week at the U.S. Conference on Poverty and Basic needs hosted by the National Diaper Bank Network . We were educated, updated on policies and were able to learn different methods in elevating your operations from other diaper and period banks.

And of course celebrating our efforts after 🎈 🎊 🎉.

Another successful maternal workshop held last week. It’s more than receiving diapers, wipes, formula and other baby essentials. It’s all about educating moms and dads about postpartum, breast feeding/lactation, infant/toddler cpr, birth rights, additional resources to navigate parenting, and much more!

Expanding into Florida was a challenge our founder was ready to take on. As a former resident she knew there was a need. Three years later, building and doing the work we have received our first Florida grant. Thank you to Law EnforcementTrust Fund for seeing our vision.
