Well, I’m looking forward to what this week has in store for me. Last week, I baked some Banana Nut muffins and 3 kinds of Christmas cookies to say thanks to a few special people who helped me throughout the year. At first, I was going to make chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin, but I remembered that Christmas is around the corner. So, I got to searching and decided to make Cherry Icebox, Christmas Monster and the classic Shortbread cookies. They all came out G-R-E-A-T!! Not bad for my first try 😊 (I made some of them with less sugar, cause oop diabetes 😳 no thanks!)
It was my first time decorating shortbread cookies. I definitely learned what Not to do 😅 It’s all good though. Mistakes are how we learn. Just wait till you see the epic fails I’ve had with some resin, Oy vey! 🤦🏽‍♀️

The ‘Mae Joy’ piece is a gift for a daughter of a friend of mine. She absolutely lit up, no pun intended, when she received them. I sent a special gift for my friend too (may share later).
