This past week we celebrated our inaugural cohort of Project Restore Bedstuy. Our interns worked aside mentors, case managers, and social works over the course of the last 13 months to reimagine what your best self looks like and accomplishing it.
Our many partners, such as InsideCircle cultivated a space of healing and transformative justice. Each intern committed to this process. Thank you leading life skills and continuing to maintain a space of awareness and action. and Deanna Logan thank you to the both of you and your teams for uplifting and supporting the work.
Thank you to our many partners Community Capacity Development Grand Street Settlement - CAPP Program (P.A.T.H. Project) 67th Precinct Clergy Council The GodSquad who support this work and make it possible.
Cheers to our graduates who committed to do the work and show up for themselves and their community β€οΈπ«ΆπΏ While we hit this milestone we are eager to continue to the work.

Bringing in the new year celebrating the very special members of our team.
Highlighting Stephen Reid, one of our Mentors who is always on site to lend a supporting hand π€π½
Stephen has played a pivotal role in the lives of our interns, offering counseling, guidance, and talent development to our guys. He is often the man behind the camera, capturing all the important moments of our program πΈ
We are so thankful for all you have done and the impact you will continue to make on the community!
2023 was one of the bests of my life. is a pilot initiative the aims to address gun violence in Bedstuy, Brooklyn βπ½ We built this program with the community to reimagine what public safety looks like and it was the opportunity to display what outcomes look like without incarceration. Access and resources changes the trajectory of anyoneβs life. While PRB has officially ended on the 31st, PRB will forever live in my heart and the impact we made in the community will continue. The boys will continue to thrive
2024 the work and mission continues!
While many of us have moved on to academia, organizing within new spaces, practicing stillness, new careers, and so many news beginnings that have already started and in the works, the work has now been expanded and more voices have been lifted. Iβm grateful and looking forward to all of the new journeys to come ππΏππΏ Iβm excited for what comes next and to see the mission continue.
