Every memorable space starts with a conversation between materials, ideas, and the people who will live with them. For this Brooklyn bathroom transformation, a striking slab of Verde Lapponia granite became the foundation for the entire design, inspiring a palette that balances bold natural textures with a tropical sensibility rooted in the homeowner’s childhood memories.

From sketches and samples to the finished space, every decision was guided by the stone.

Designed for gathering, this reimagined living space brings together kitchen, dining, and lounge areas in a bright, open plan that feels connected to the landscape beyond. A restrained material palette, natural light, and carefully framed views create a home that is both relaxed and refined—perfectly suited to life on the North Fork.
