Imagine my delight when my friends asked if i had any ideas to rework a few extra stripey shirts for them, and whadaya know, any excuse to mix it up with some stripes and i’m in! We dug out the most beautiful vintage shirts stripes we could find and mixed and matched the sleeves, so each shirt is unique, beautiful and a stripey surprise 💙 Thank you Alex Mill for the invitation, and please join us the Saturday for iced masala coffee, brownies and some of my hero products for keeping plastics out of our waste stream.

the Worker pants have a denim belt loop at the back sourced from bales of old clothing.
No new materials.

We are numbering our Rework pants with Roman numerals, even if IXV isn’t one. Each worker pant is reclaimed from bales and cost the planet nothing in this iteration, except for being well made and quality materials. Number X has a hand done blind hem, block printed no-waste winkies, 36 waist, 26 inseam

honestly any excuse will do to break out the blocks but this weekend we have some cherries in honor of our favorite women run, food and fashion mag Jubillee 🍒 with some amazing vintage stripey shirts to print on, should u be inspired! AND we will also have a special spritz made with Cascara, the husk of the coffee cherry, from ‼️‼️‼️🍒🍒🍒 ALL OF THIS on sunday, 11am - 3pm mark your calendars!!

My neighbor has hung two of his photos in the shop that have a special meaning for me. Images of the artisans in Bagru, India, that is the cradle of block printing, that we use to reinvent existing clothing rather than buy new. Robert is also opening a show titled Carbon, at of his large scale photos of damaged glaciers, highlighting man’s effect on climate. Stop by for coffee but also head to Nepenthes for the show opening Thursday 7-9pm. .
